The debate over the future of the RCMP came to Whitecourt Monday.
The Royal Canadian Legion hosted a Keep Alberta RCMP presentation by the National Police Federation (NPF), as part of NPF’s cross-province tour.
Kevin Halwa and Jeff McGowan, Prairie NPF directors, spoke to a crowd of approximately 20 regarding the potential impact of replacing Alberta’s RCMP members with an entirely new provincial force.
